Quickstart
Get from signup to a live Habla agent on your site in a few minutes. This is the hosted Habla customer path — not a self-host install guide.
1. Create your Habla account
Open the Habla home page and choose Get started. Sign up with email and password. Habla creates your first workspace and a draft agent for you.
If you enter a website URL during signup, that domain is added to the agent's allowed origins so the embed can load there without an extra step.
2. Complete onboarding
On /onboarding you will:
- Confirm the website your agent should learn from.
- Let Habla discover crawlable pages (sitemap when available, plus common paths).
- Index that website as one knowledge source. That source can fan out into many indexed pages.
- Watch indexing progress (pages indexed so far vs your plan’s page allowance).
- Copy the embed snippet.
Sitemap vs no sitemap: when Habla finds a suitable sitemap, the website source can discover and index multiple pages. When no usable sitemap is found, Habla falls back to indexing the homepage only — you can add more pages or a sitemap later from Knowledge.
Two different limits:
- Plan page allowance — how many pages your workspace may index under its Habla plan (see Plans & Billing).
- Per-source infrastructure crawl cap — a separate ceiling on how many pages a single source can process, independent of your plan allowance. Details of how crawling works are in Crawler chain.

3. Embed the widget
Paste the snippet just before </body> on pages where
the agent should appear. Replace YOUR_AGENT_ID with the value
from onboarding or the agent’s Settings page. Use your Habla site’s host
for the script URL (shown in onboarding).

4. Publish
Draft mode is for testing. Visitors only get live answers after you Publish the agent from its overview page.
5. Watch the inbox
Open /app/inbox to see visitor conversations, jump in as a
human, and capture leads. Details:
